About Us
Vijay Pandit Palam is vice president, Delhi Pradesh, BJP. He is a visionary leader who sows dreams in millions of hearts and helps realize them. He is a man who has faith in education as a means of human and nation development. Born on 1st Jan 1968 at Palam village, a place in New Delhi, He grew up in a culture that made him a man of action, he is among those who like to keep his words and believe in working pro-actively for people. After completing primary education at a government school in Palam village, he then joined Ram Lal Anand Collage (Delhi University) for his further studies but Endowed with excellent organizational capability and a rich insight into human psychology, he soon became a part of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and played various prominent roles such as central council, executive council, secretary for Janata Vidyarthi Morcha.

During this period he led various protest for some most important issues for students at Delhi University such as sports and canteen facility for students, security of students, sports room, girl’s common room etc. which then proved out as the key milestones for the organization and students at Delhi university. He also played an active role in various socio-political movements like Mandal commission. He also has been a great athlete and been awarded as best player at Delhi university for Kabaddi.
After completing graduation, he started with BJP and while serving he played several important roles such as General Secretary and president for two consecutive terms for Najafgarh Jeela, BJP. He has also been a part of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), wherein he learned the spirit of selflessness, social responsibility, dedication and nationalism. In 2007 he was elected a municipal councilor (2007-12) from Palam ward-145.
During this period, he served at many important positions such as chairman of Najafgarh zone for two consecutive terms, member of standing committee of Delhi MCD, member of legel cell of Delhi MCD etc. Under his leadership, Palam ward-145 has been witnessing massive transformation in several areas including education, healthcare and cleaning of area, construction of roads and adjoining streets, renovations of MCD primary schools at Palam and several others. . He is a man who has great faith in children education, women empowerment and greater participation of youth for a better future. He now is committed towards developing a the entire Palam assembly with clear vision of his own for the future of the Palam assembly. His supreme dream is the regeneration and transformation of Palam assembly, and eventually his motherland emerging as a developed and powerful nation.
